We often fear for something. But fear is nothing but a thought arising out of our own thinking. We can be fearless by changing the way we think and imagine about ourselves.

Fear is a negative emotion
Fear is a meaningless and negative emotion. But fear lurks in your heart and is experienced in anticipation of something you desire but not sure of getting it.
A momentary fear results in a positive outcome to rev up your energy and achieve some goals. But a chronic fearful mind makes one dangerously ill, mentally and physically.
Expectation is the root cause of any fear. Because we expect many things to happen to fulfill our whims and fancies. The unexpected failures or the anxious thoughts about a failure causes fear.
There may be so many reasons about why someone is fearing but a simple understanding of life makes us free from any fear.Fear can be warded off by directing our thoughts in a positive direction.
You are born fearless
Every one is born fearless and is designed to live happily without any fear. Was there some fear when I just took birth? You may argue that this is a baseless question because a new-born baby, first of all, does not have any knowledge. But the fact is that we are born intelligent. Intelligent to suckle when the mother inserts the nipple to feed, and intelligent to hold on to something or someone.
Various emotions are learnt by the child as it grows. But an unreasonable fear makes one psychotic which is a serious concern to the family and friends.
Let us explore some more facts. Are you worried that the sun will not rise tomorrow? No way, and we never bother to think that way.
Then why to fear for anything?
Have you ever worried to consciously digest the food you have eaten? No, we never think of physically or mentally putting some effort to digest the food that is in our stomach. And, such thinking does not make any sense. Because our body is designed to digest the foods that we eat, provided we choose a diet that is conducive to out stomachs.
Then why fear for something that is not in our hands. Likewise, anything that is not in our capacity cannot be expected to happen. Fear builds up with the distress of thoughts the mind is filled with.
Live fearlessly and free of distress
If you make your mind free of unnatural thoughts, the fear does not exist. Fear is a companion of bad expectations. Keep your thoughts free of desires and expectations that are beyond your capacity.
Just put down that fear and be free. Make your life enjoyable as it comes.
But keep trying for your goals honestly and with hard work whatever is possible to you. If you feel you can’t achieve a thing, think an alternative and go for it.
The idea of happy living is to live fearlessly and free of distress.
