The Parthenon,one of the Most Important Relics of the Ancient Greece

On September 1687 some of the surviving sculpture of the Parthenon was removed by the ignition of some Ottoman Turk ammunition dump inside the building. It was ignited by Venetian Thomas Bruce, the 7th earl of Elgin with the permission of the Ottoman Turk.
