~Believe Anything That You Want~~
~Believe Anything That You Want~
There is no destiny in your eyes. The blind have ears more to listen, would see what the purblind do not, more astute in their deficiency and exacting of reality whose hand reaches toward them is that reached instead. I helped a blind man one day, having been lost, he found me, led me to my destination, more confident in his darkness than I in my light, he showed me the way.
There are no corners in a room that’s round. The diamond said to the lump of coal, you are not hard enough to be beautiful. To which the coal replied, your beauty is not so deep as my ebon fields, so might I hold a death of dust as your beauty divides breath.
If a piece of lint is shaped like a cat turd, it usually is. May your sticky fingers learn, know better than to pick it up. Neither is it nose candy, although, as evidenced by children and puppies, may be ingested with little or no disastrous effect. One, two, three, fecal matters not what you’re counting on. Are there kittens in heaven, litter boxes for angels, or just another dark cloud.
~Blind Poet~
~Believe Anything That You Want~
Only is a poet blind if she refuses to see and may become disillusioned if she believes the things she does, decides to make a difference and does for then she is lost, leaping through a predatory snarl, lying in her magnitude of dreams to all who will listen, threadbare riddled fantasy, leaking like a machine gun, blowing her inner sanctum two bits a dollar, you downtown fool.
Whom decides edges, limits, whether the starter’s pistol fires blanks; it ain’t his kid, sells dope and he sold whiskey. What the hell’s the difference; come on, buyer beware. Is she cutting with arsenic or just poisoning rats. Whom knows the difference is bound to make a difference. Guns don’t kill people; money does. Our skin is paper, hearts are wood and yet we play with matches.
~Mud Puppy Damn~
~Believe Anything That You Want~
I’ll give you three humans for a mud puppy, life in a two cornered room. There is nothing holy here, ya go diggin’ around, diggin’ around. What you gonna do when the.. Believe anything that you want. Devil come crawlin’ through the threshing floor. Name her harvest; give her wings. Believe anything that you want. Children, cut the strings off your puppets, raise ‘em up over your head. There’s a dark room, eye of doom. Believe anything that you want.
Who’s that lyin’ cross your shoulder there. Are they witness; are they solstice, own a little piece of the moon. Believe anything that you want. You walk on in a crowded room. You got safety in numbers, a lottery of marksmen, twelve men and one bullet so no one strikes the target down. Believe anything that you want. There’s a masque to hide the door inside. We ain’t gonna make it. Believe anything that you want.
We got freedom; we got morals. Believe anything that you want. We got rhythm; we the forest. Believe anything that you want. Mother’s milk, land of honey. Believe anything that you want. Praying surcease, your glut of pain. Believe anything that you want.

Believe is the only word of strength every one need, no need for a miracle as it is already a sign of accepting the truth..

Yes. After the Columbine Tragedy I intended to write a novel about tending to ones children. I raised five as a single parent. I began the work with the title, "Be There," realized that's all there is to it. Wrote a two word novel & went back to hugging my kids:-)

You draw from the core of our beings - holding a mirror, that reflects only what is real...
