~Rock & Roll~free original music on the internet~fallin’ down slow~riders on the storm~omen squeaks from the mouth of the preacher~we ain’t pickin’ up on his lies~wakin’ up on the other side~

~Slow Train~

we’re going to hell on a slow train rolling
brakes on fire on a downhill slide
all we know when the trip is over
little girl come along for the ride
come on

we standing in line for the resurrection
down the alley babies are born
somebody trips, breaks the connection
fiber optic lightning to power the storm
come on

funny preacher man screaming armageddon
we standing our knees the welfare line
passing the buck, ain’t gonna let him
going to hell, still waitin for a sign
come on

mama take my hand cause the train, she rolling
guts on fire, a hell of a ride
ain’t no secret, when this trip is over
little girl come along for the ride
come on

we’re goin’ to hell on a slow train rolling
brakes on fire on a downhill slide
all we know when the trip is over
we’re gonna wake up on the other side
come on now

Nice poetry with the fire and hell on a slow train but so playful and sentimental!
