~22 sorrows~the blood faith begins~may count your head forfeit~the 33rd sin~

~The 33rd Sin~

She’s older ‘n dirt
you know what they say
hangin’ ten in the sky
turns night into day
Hunters and madmen
wild women roam
A dead heat, the blood trail
whose earth scent is home

They’re naked, the eclipse
plays gooseflesh and wind
marks feathery shadow
blue ink blood on skin
phantom teeth glisten
a-howl, yes they feed
To hell with all flowers
‘tis the night o’ the weed

So wither you walk now
this All Hallows Eve
through the curtain of dusk
when the good day takes leave
22 sorrows
the blood faith begins
may count your head forfeit
the 33rd sin
