~ Sanchez passed me on his crotch rocket ~ I didn’t know him then ~ he took the interstate ramp too hard ~ crashed into a barrier ~ rolled off into the bushes ~ that’s how I met him~ picked him up ~ dragged him home ~
~Vein Desire~
Remembering
the yellow/white powder daze
guys hiding in the bushes
paranoia
a nose bleed
confirmation of “good shit”!
those who turned to the needle
to save their nasal passages
and to achieve the next level of enhancement
enlightenment, the high
and the very damned low
Makes a guy wonder
how he ever got out
and remember those who didn’t
and where they are buried
