Great article, Snerfu. A lot of very useful information. I've been a spices and herbs fan for the past few years and I live in country where fresh fruit and vegetables are plentiful and varied. Many varieties that are common here are not available in western countries.

I have to agree with RBB1010. Although genetics plays a big role, what we eat has considerable impact on our health and longevity.

Our culture determines our diet and our genes are adapted to that regime. I love good Indian food and I am glad there is plenty of good nutritious items included.
