There are some things in life worth letting go of, and fear and negative attachment are both of them. Courage to let go and be totally positive about yourself may seem a little scary at times, but it is the best thing to do as we shall see in this series of musings from me:
This is basically me telling you why I write. What I am currently writing about.
This poem is about the shadow self. The shadow self-projects its fears in our rear. These in turn shadow us from ourselves. Turn around and see the truth. There are no shadows being created from love at any time. A candle creates shadows for others, not for itself. It burns from i...
We are told to be ourselves. Know yourself. To your own self be true. How can we do this though, if we do not as yet know who this self is, or who it might potentially still be? This poem answered these questions for me. Perhaps it might answer a question or two of yours too, I hope...
Communication has allowed us to increase in our consciousness levels. This verbal communication with others allows us to connect to them with love. Our soul also tries to connect to us from love. It can do this through various methods, such as its giving us intuitional nudges, or th...
This is a short poem about how the power of imagination is never a delusional one. It brings us into realities that we could never have entered otherwise. Keep your feet on the Earth, but allow your mind to soar into the Heavens. Get past the delusion to the realness of your being yo...
Recently, while watering the garden a bird was following me around. These nature murmurings, or more musings resulted from this little incident that touched me at the end of another busy day of not being so touched. It's the same with our lives. We must become alive to our real sel...
When we seem dead and buried within life's muddy waters, it is then that we must throw ourselves a life-raft. By getting closer to who we really are, by being our real selves, we can see through these muddy waters to the distant star that we are. To really be our real selves, we need...
We should never fight against our minds, but rather whenever it is trying to point us outwards into the world, we should merely turn it around so it is being inwardly directed then instead. When we do this our minds will eventually fade away in a way becoming then nothing separated f...
Many of us, myself included, are often quite confused about who we really are. We would like the real us to step forwards, and to be us, or to run our lives for us, or maybe just even to give us a helping hand, in our running of our own lives. Which of these "us's" though, is the r...
We live our lives as ourselves in our body, with our mind. Why then must we listen to any advice coming to us from any so called higher self? Is it better to make our own mistakes, or to try to avoid them by following this inner guidance? If we avoid something, what is the point ...
Our ego serves a purpose for us. It does this in both a spiritual and a psychological way. We should not try to completely rid ourselves of this tool of our soul then. We should just learn to put it back into its proper slot so that it then aids us rather than works against us.
We can never move forwards from our old selves. The only way forwards is to be born again into a new self. This article touches on this idea of self as it exists within oneness, both from the Eastern, and the Western philosophies, or religious thinking's.
A mistake doesn't mean that we haven't tried our best. Our best is not something that is fixed in its place. We are always improving, and increasing in wisdom. The fact is that we are always the best self that we have ever been up until now. Everything before has led up to this.
